The students are getting adjusted at the 2-5 campus and in second grade. Beginning this week, students will be given a choice board for Morning work. They will choose from 9 activities of various tasks. There are 4 challenge tasks if they finish the board early. The tasks focus on skills learned the previous week, creative opportunities, reading, board games, and construction challenges. As we begin the board this week, students may choose any activities, but on the next choice board they will be required to complete 1-2 activities and then choose from the rest.
Fingers crossed- I think Dojo should be up and running tomorrow. If you haven't connected, or your code doesn't work, let me know and I can invite you through your email. Clubs start tomorrow- please send me a note if your child will be attending a club. It is helpful to send me a note each week, just in case I am out unexpectedly. A reminder to return the clinic card that came home in the Cobb folder. I need to collect these cards so that I can give them to the nurse. I welcome any snack donations to keep in the classroom.
